How recipes are written

Each recipe lists ingredients in the order they are used, gives amounts in U.S. customary units, and describes how to tell when a step is done (colour, texture, temperature) so you are not relying on time alone.

The recipe text and illustrations on this site are written for it. We do not copy another site’s wording.

Safety

Recipes follow the food-safety guidance summarised in the Disclaimer. We do not make health claims.

Dates and updates

Each recipe shows when it was last updated. When we change amounts, times or safety information the date changes.

Corrections

If you find a mistake, write to [email protected] with the recipe name and what you saw. We correct errors promptly and update the date.

Independence

Brands cannot pay to appear in or change a recipe. See the Advertising Disclosure.
